Formula: contribution = price − COGS − payment − fulfillment − shipping − (price × return%). BE-ROAS = 1 ÷ CM%. BE-ACoS = CM%.

MER (marketing efficiency ratio) ≈ total revenue ÷ total ad spend across channels. Use BE-ROAS as the floor for paid channels; MER is a blended health check when attribution is messy — not a substitute for unit economics.
